Instead of opinions, we scored famous cities with real climate data: day-by-day feels-like temperature (heat with humidity), rainfall, sunshine hours, wind, temperature stability and the risk of violent storms. A city is only as good as its harshest month — so places with brutal winters or sweltering summers drop, and mild, stable, sunny places rise.

How the climate score works

Every day of the year gets a score out of 100. Days lose points for feels-like temperatures outside a comfortable 13–30°C band, for rain, strong wind and grey skies. Cities also lose points for extreme temperature swings, days with torrential rain or violent wind (how hurricanes and big storms show up in the data), air pollution above WHO guidelines, and altitudes above 2,000 m. The final score blends the average month with the worst month — because you live there in January and July alike.
